Nestled in the heart of Milan at P.za Francesco Carrara, Ristorante La Brioschina offers an exquisite journey through authentic Italian cuisine, elevating traditional flavors with a refined contemporary touch. As a sister restaurant to the celebrated Osteria Conchetta, La Brioschina carries forward the legacy of Milanese culinary excellence while carving out its own distinct identity with a menu that dazzles both the palate and the soul.
The culinary offerings here are a celebration of Italy’s rich gastronomic heritage. Highlights include the quintessentially Milanese Risotto alla Milanese with Ossobuco, a dish praised by patrons for its perfectly creamy risotto paired with tender, slow-cooked ossobuco that melts effortlessly in the mouth. The Caramelized Onion and Fried Milanese Artichokes starters showcase the kitchen’s skill in balancing robust, caramelized sweetness with crisp, golden textures that awaken the senses. For those eager to indulge in a truly iconic Milanese experience, the large, succulent Cotoletta (breaded pork cutlet) served here is both a feast for the eyes and a comforting embrace of traditional flavors.
The dining atmosphere is elegantly understated, striking a perfect balance between sophistication and warmth. Customers frequently comment on the cozy yet polished environment, ideal for intimate dinners or celebratory gatherings. The venue’s location near the Navigli and Via Cermenate adds a vibrant urban flair, though many wisely recommend taking a cab due to the neighborhood’s character after dark.
What truly sets La Brioschina apart, however, is its impeccable service. Guests consistently rave about the attentiveness and genuine friendliness of the staff. Whether it’s Mattia, whose detailed guidance through the menu reflects deep knowledge and passion, or the entire team who maintain a seamless service flow while ensuring each guest feels personally cared for, the service ethos here elevates the dining experience to something memorable and heartfelt.
Dining at Ristorante La Brioschina is more than just a meal—it’s an immersion into the authentic soul of Milanese cuisine. Every dish bursts with rich, layered flavors crafted with care and tradition, while the thoughtful and warm hospitality invites you to savor not only food but the joy of being truly welcomed. For those seeking a refined yet approachable Italian dining experience infused with heart and heritage, La Brioschina is an absolute must-visit.

The food is great, the service is excellent as well! The male service crew (not sure what’s his name), he was really attentive, helpful and friendly as he constantly checked on us while we were eating and ensured that things are all good for us. He also patiently introduced and brought us through the menu and dishes. Overall all the service crews are super friendly too! It was a great experience here, risotto and tiramisu is superb too :)

Sister restaurant of Osteria Conchetta, and just as delightful as its sibling! I went for lunch and had a truly high-end Italian dining experience. Every dish is prepared with authentic, classic gusto, full of flavour and care. The service was exceptional, Mattia is one of the kindest and most knowledgeable servers I’ve ever met. A must-visit if you’re looking for a spot with real Italian soul, slightly away from the busy city centre.

Clone of the most famous brother "La Conchetta". Smart upscale Milanese Menu with a gentle and prepared crew. We had the caramelized onion and Fried milanese artichokes as entrees. My main course has been the king "Risotto alla milanese with ossobuco" and was superb. I would suggest it for an elegan but not fancy/pretending dinner

Very elegant restaurant in the Navigli/Via Cermenate area. Exceptional service from the waitstaff. They professionally recommended wines based on our dishes. Delicious food. Cozy atmosphere. Perhaps a bit pricey, but overall in line with the city’s standards. Highly recommended!

We just had dinner at Ristorante La Brioschina, and everything was amazing. The food was outstanding. We had one of the risotto’s and the pork cutlet. The two dishes were large enough to feed 3 of us. Depending on which risotto you choose, they will finish it at your table. Service was also outstanding. Highly recommended.

Their sister restaurant was full, so they recommended this one and we were very satisfied. The risotto (traditional one) was amazing - the other with artichokes was excellent too. We shared one “cotoletta” (a must in Milan) and it was huge and yummy! Servers were all very sweet and we had an enjoyable evening. Seemed like a sketchy area - I wouldn’t walk there - take a cab!
